Prof. Dangxiao Wang

Prof. Dangxiao Wang works on machine haptics, cognitive haptics, brain-computer interaction, virtual reality and medical rehabilitation robots. He serves as Deputy Director of the National Key Laboratory of Virtual Reality Technology and Systems.

Biography

Prof. Wang received his PhD from Beihang University in 2004 and completed postdoctoral research at Beihang in 2006. He became a professor in 2016.

He has served as Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Haptics Executive Committee, Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Haptics, and General Chair of AsiaHaptics. His research has appeared in npj Flexible Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Haptics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing, IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering and other journals.
